Great Harvest Bread Co. has been part of the Linden Hills community since December of 1982. We have a stone mill in the bakery and grind wheat on the premises to make our bread with the freshest whole grains possible.The key ingredient is the whole kernel of wheat and we believe in putting the whole kernel into our bread. We look at each loaf as it comes out of the oven and we listen to the sound of the wheat and yeast working. The freshness of the wheat shines through in the finished loaf. We also make a variety of sweets, specialty breads and of course fresh sandwiches for lunch.
Our dream has always been to make Great Harvest part of the Linden Hills community, a place where people can come in for a loaf of bread, or just a slice and hang out. We want our community and customers, to view us as a place with good bread and great people. We like to be thought of as "The Bread People"
We try to give generously to the community by supporting events with our bread from silent auctions to running races. Also we have a Baker of the Day give away once a year to support a actual organization.
